Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Ayios on Discord, including any features, integrations, and services provided by Ayios (“Ayios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Ayios, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced within them.

If you do not agree, do not use Ayios.

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of Ayios after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to access or use Ayios on Discord.

• By using Ayios, you represent that you meet Discord’s minimum age requirements and any other applicable requirements.
• Users found to be under 13 may be restricted or banned.

2. Discord / Third-Party Compliance

Ayios is not affiliated with Discord or any other third party. However, since Ayios operates on Discord:

• You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies while using Ayios on Discord.
• Ayios may take action for third-party rule violations when they reasonably affect Ayios, its users, or its operations.

3. Scope of Enforcement & Discretion

Ayios enforcement is discretionary and context-based.

• Sometimes, Ayios enforces rules strictly when a Discord server uses Ayios or when conduct is tied to Ayios operations.
• Other times, Ayios may choose not to take action — even if a technical violation exists.
• Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, impact, history, and relevance to Ayios.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not, directly or indirectly:

• Impersonate Ayios staff, representatives, or affiliates (outside of clear, obvious satire).
• Submit, coordinate, or encourage malicious or knowingly false reports (including mass/fraudulent reporting).
• Conduct actions that reasonably damage Ayios’s reputation, operations, infrastructure, users, or staff.
• Encourage or assist others in violating Ayios rules or policies.
• Evade enforcement actions (e.g., suspensions/bans) using alternate accounts or by creating new Discord accounts or Discord servers.
• Spread defamatory or knowingly false information about Ayios where not clearly satirical.
• Abuse, overload, interfere with, or misuse Ayios services, systems, or APIs.
• Automate commands/interactions with Ayios in a disruptive way or to gain an unfair advantage.

5. Security, Bugs & Exploits

The following are prohibited:

• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities in Ayios.
• Publicly disclosing methods for exploiting Ayios vulnerabilities.
• Exploiting vulnerabilities in other bots/services, or publicly disclosing them in a way that could reasonably enable misuse or impact Ayios, its users, or Discord servers connected to Ayios.
• Using Ayios in a way that compromises security, stability, or service integrity.

Responsible, good-faith disclosure is allowed and encouraged. This includes privately reporting a vulnerability to Ayios staff, to the affected bot’s or service’s developers, or to a server owner who could reasonably be affected, where the purpose is to help prevent misuse. What is not permitted is exploiting the vulnerability, or publicizing, bragging about, or otherwise sharing it in a way that makes misuse more likely.

6. Fraud, Scams, and Unlawful or Abusive Activity

The following conduct is prohibited where it reasonably relates to, involves, impacts, or is associated with Ayios, Ayios users, or Ayios operations on Discord:

• Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices, including improper chargebacks or payment abuse.
• Operating, facilitating, or participating in online or real-world scams.
• Stealing, hijacking, or attempting to compromise Discord accounts.
• Intentionally destroying, disabling, or severely disrupting Discord servers (“nuking”) through permission abuse, mass actions, or similar conduct (including conduct that violates platform rules or contractual obligations).
• Violating applicable local, state, federal, or international laws.
• Promoting, facilitating, or encouraging unlawful or abusive activity.
• Copyright or trademark violations, including unauthorized distribution of protected materials.

Clear satire or fictional content is exempt where a reasonable person would understand it as such.

7. Content & Conduct Standards

Ayios may take action against any user or Discord server that engages in, contributes to, facilitates, endorses, or meaningfully participates in the following conduct, whether or not Ayios was directly used:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, or blackmail.
• Hate speech or discrimination against protected characteristics.
• Fear-inducing, graphic, or disturbing content without justification.
• Encouraging, promoting, or normalizing self-harm or suicide.
• Circumventing safeguards, filters, or moderation systems.
• Distributing malware or malicious software.
• Collecting, sharing, or disclosing personal information without consent (“doxxing”).
• Spam, raids (a coordinated influx of users, accounts, or messages intended to overwhelm, harass, or disrupt a server), other coordinated disruptions, or abusive advertising that reasonably implicates Ayios.

8. Enforcement Actions

Ayios may take any action it deems appropriate, including but not limited to:

• Warnings
• Restrictions or feature limitations
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans
• Discord server-level enforcement

Violations not explicitly listed may still result in enforcement. Ayios is not required to provide advance notice or progressive discipline.

9. Data, Logging & Privacy

Ayios may collect and log operational data necessary to provide, secure, and enforce its services on Discord.

• This may include command usage, message references/links, identifiers, timestamps, and system metadata.
• Ayios does not sell personal data.

How Ayios processes and protects data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

10. Agreement

By using Ayios on Discord, you agree to:

• These Terms of Service
• The Ayios Privacy Policy
• Ayios’s authority to enforce these Terms in order to protect its services, users, and operations

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oregon for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Ayios.
